Bookings are now open for our ‘Changemakers’ Virtual Supporter Conference! Feb 22nd -26th 2021
It’s fair to say that 2021 hasn’t had the start many of us had hoped for. Being locked-down again and with COVID-19 still very much affecting our day to day lives it’s easy to feel like there’s not much to be hopeful about.
So, here is something to pierce the gloom a little with stories of hope from our partners around the world, along with workshops to inspire and encourage you and your churches. Our virtual supporter conference timetable is now finalised, and bookings for sessions are open!
Some of the conference highlights will be:-
– Meet and be inspired from other groups and churches across the UK and Ireland;
– Hear directly from our partners in Kenya on how they’re making lasting change;
– Learn about (and be equipped to run) virtual and cashless fundraising ideas for 2021;
– The power of campaigning
– Learn more about Christian Aid’s vision for climate justice.
Feel free to join us for just one or all of the sessions. I would personally love to have you join me for our local ‘Gr Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire Supporter Session’ on Tuesday evening (19.30) and/or Friday morning (10am) – not least because it will be the first time that I will get to ‘meet’ most of you, but will also be a session where we can meet our local neighbours and groups/churches and share ideas and resources.
All sessions will be on Zoom and will be being recorded so will also be available afterwards.
