Children's Work

Sunday School

We run children’s groups for Reception – Year 6 children alongside our Sunday Morning Service at the Worship Centre and provide materials and Toy Bags at both the Parish Church and the Worship Centre for children that remain in the service.

Children’s work

Our Children’s Workers continue to do excellent work in New Park Primary School, Phoenix Primary School and in Kensington Primary School. In addition, they run Big Bash Easter Mission and Big Bash Street Party in the Summer. They also lead at and support children in Falcon Camp and at New Wine.

We are grateful to The Henry Smith’s Charity Poor Clergy Surplus fund to assist with funding.

The Big Bash Roadshow is an ecumenical mission week in which churches across Kensington come together to perform assemblies and lead workshops in the primary schools in the local area. The theme for this roadshow was ‘Star Wars’ wherein each assembly we got to act out the common scenes in Star Wars and the battle between the dark and light side. We got to share the Easter story by relating it to the sacrifice of one of the main characters ’Obi-Wan’.   The workshops continued the star wars theme (sometimes very loosely) but focussed on relevant topics for the children including teamwork and healthy eating.

Tuesday & Sunday Tot's

All Saints runs two tot’s groups that parents and their children are welcome to attend! Tuesday tots include all kinds of craft making, storytelling, and games, while Sunday Tots runs alongside the Worship Centre’s service once a fortnight.
