As Christian’s we believe that Jesus loves us where we are but know he also wants us to flourish and achieve our fullest potential in life. Many people in our community live with drug and alcohol dependency but may feel that they would not be accepted within a traditional church setting.
‘Chillout’ is the church for people who may not normally engage with the inherited church and seeks to welcome people on the fringes of our society. Chillout has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, meeting on a Tuesday afternoon. If you’d like to get involved, contact us for more information.
Domestic abuse is a crime. It includes all violence and abuse of power within a household between men and women, married and unmarried, parents to children, children to parents including elderly parents, and between nonrelated parties. Suffering through violence whether physical, psychological, spiritual, financial, sexual, emotional or through neglect should not be an accepted part of Christian life.
We will work hard to support the survivors of domestic abuse in whatever form it takes. We do not tolerate any form of domestic violence or abuse and will work with any relevant agencies to help eradicate it.
